2018-2019 TUITION AND FEES
REGISTRATION FEE: $200 for new students to the Academy.
All fees, some activities, and material costs are included in the tuition rates. 10% of your annual
tuition rate is due by July 1 unless you pay in full or chose the 12-month plan (which your first
tuition payment would be due in June). Sports fees and part-time student fees are not included
in these tuition rates.

The Tuition Rates for 2017-2018 school year are:
Pre-school (PreK-3) $6000 per year
1⁄2 day (PreK-3) $3450 per year
1⁄2 day PreK-4-Kindergarten $3600 per year
PreK4 to Kindergarten $6150 per year
Elementary (1-6) $6550 per year
Junior/Senior High School $6750 per year
HOMESCHOOL and ADDITIONAL CLASS TUITION RATES

FAMILY TUITION RATES
1st child in the Academy = pay 100% of tuition
2nd child in the Academy = pay 85% of tuition
3rd and all subsequent children = pay 70% of tuition
Please note: SALEM COUNTY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY plans its budget on “anticipated”
enrollment. No refunds and/or adjustments will be made on tuition when a child is not in
attendance (sick days, snow days, vacations, etc.)

Plan B 1⁄2 of tuition paid in August and the remainder in January 2018
Plan C 10% of total tuition by July 1, remainder divided into 10-monthly payments (Aug-May)

Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP)
Each SCC Academy family is required to serve at least 10 hours in an approved volunteer project or
opt to pay a fee of $250. Some examples of approved volunteer projects would include: concessions
for games, general maintenance, serving at the Thanksgiving Dinner, Race for Education, Golf
Tournament, etc. There is a section included on application for each family to indicate their decision
either to be involved in the VIP program or to opt out and pay the $250 (options are available to pay,
see the application sheet).
Morning 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. (K3-12)
Afternoon 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. (K3-12)
Extended Care will be figured/and billed on an hourly basis.
The cost is $7 per hour, or $4 for every 1⁄2 hour or portion thereof.
Extended Care is only in session when school is open.
There will be Extended Care on scheduled half-days but not on cancellations, delays or early dismissals
Students must be signed out of Extended Care by a parent/guardian.
All students who are in Extended Care must be registered (Please obtain a form from the office)
There will not be extended care during scheduled Parent/Teacher conferences
If enrolling after school has started and parents want 2 payments, tuition will be prorated then 1⁄2 the tuition payment is due at enrollment, and the remaining 1⁄2 is due January 1.
All tuition payments are due on the date that you select from the FACTS tuition application. A ten-day grace period is given before accounts are considered past due.
Tuition payments are considered past due if not paid within 10 days of the due date. A $35 late fee will be applied for payments not received with in 10 days of the due date. A reminder will be sent on the 10th day after the due date, if tuition payment has not been received.
Students may not be allowed to return to class for accounts that are more than 30 days past due unless
arrangements have been made.
A $35 fee will be assessed for all returned checks/insufficient funds. If a check or account is reported for
insufficient funds Salem County Christian Academy will no longer accept checks. Payment must be made by
cash, money order, or cashier’s check from that date forward.
Transcripts, report cards, diplomas, or school records cannot be released until accounts are current.
Students may not take final exams or participate in commencement if accounts are not current.
Tuition charges of a student withdrawn will be prorated on the basis of the number of months or fractions thereof that the student attends the school. A 10% processing fee of the yearly tuition per child will be charged for withdrawal. Allow 60 days for refunds to be processed.
Tuition charges for a child admitted to the school during either semester will be prorated.
WAYS TO HELP PAY FOR A CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
STUDENT RECRUITMENT AWARDS
This program is designed to assist any family that is motivated to help the school’s enrollment. A $300 cash award for the recruitment of each new family to SCCA is provided to a family already in the school. The SCCA family may receive this award for each family that enrolls in SCCA for a full year at their urging. This award is given in February of the second semester. There is no limit to the number of such new families recruited to SCCA.
