Our Mission:
Salem County Christian Academy is committed to being a leader in distinctive Christian education as we prepare and inspire students to impact their world for Christ. We seek to partner with parents who are fulfilling their God ordained mandate to “Train up a child…” (Prov. 22:6), and who enthusiastically and wholeheartedly support the school's mission to engage students in a Christ-centered education that equips, challenges and guides them to reach their unique potential spiritually, academically, socially, and physically.
Our History:
Salem County Christian Academy began as Park Bible Academy in 1978 as a ministry of the Park Bible Baptist Church, and became an independent non-profit organization in 2008. For more than 42 years, the purpose of Salem County Christian Academy has been to come along side parents in fulfilling their God-ordained mandate to “Train up a child…” (Prov. 22:6).
We seek to train the whole student (spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically) by providing a Christ-centered educational experience. The Word of God is integrated into the total educational experience at SCCA and is taught so that the student will develop a Biblical Worldview for every stage of life.
It is not the purpose of Salem County Christian Academy to be a substitute for Godly instruction in the home, but to reinforce these Godly truths throughout your child’s education. At SCCA, it is our desire to be a integral part of our students lives, and equip them with educational tools matched with a Biblical Perspective which will prepare them to succeed wherever God leads them.
Our Biblical Worldview:
We all have a lens through which we view and understand the world. History, science, the arts, and every subject and every curriculum has a viewpoint. If a Christian viewpoint is not present, the only other option is a non-Christian viewpoint. There is no such thing as a “neutral viewpoint.” We teach from a Biblical worldview; God is real, the Bible is true, and biblical principles and values are integrated into our academics, athletics, arts, activities, and attitudes.
