Sowing Seeds Preschool

YEAR ROUND BEGINS AUGUST 29, 2018

Salem County Christian Academy offers a loving and nurturing environment for 3 and 4 year olds to thrive in both their academic and Biblical knowledge. The A Beka curriculum is used in both classes, and has proven to be very advanced. We offer both a part time and full time enrollment.

 

Our Sowing Seeds Preschool is for children ages 3 through 5.

We have a K-3, K-4 and K-5 class available both full and half days.

K3/K4/K5 students must be three / four / five respectively on or before October 1st of the school year they enter.

Students will be able to:

 

  • recognize and write their names

  • count from 1 to 100

  • identify basic colors and shapes

  • recognize the letters of the alphabet and their sounds

  • write uppercase and lowercase letters

  • recite the Pledge of Allegiance, Pledge to the Christian flag, and Pledge to the Bible

  • name the days of the week and the months of the year

  • identify the daily weather

  • grip pencils and crayons correctly

  • develop fine and large motor skills through manipulative play

  • demonstrate concepts of patterns and sequencing

  • sound out blends, one vowel words, and two vowel words

  • raise their hand when they would like to speak

  • identify themselves as a member of a cooperative group as well as a unique individual

  • grow in a safe and loving environment
